Lexington and Buena Vista both have great Christmas parades in their downtowns in December. Lexington’s parade is tentatively scheduled for Friday evening, Dec. 4. Traditionally, Buena Vista holds its parade on the first Thursday of December, which would be Dec. 3, 2026. Both parades feature floats and marching units from local organizations, high school bands and, of course, Santa Claus.
