George C. Marshall Library and Museum -

In addition to housing Marshall's papers and records, the facility exhibits items from the General's career, and other interesting memorabilia. Frank McCarthy's Oscar statue won for producing the movie "Patton" is on display - McCarthy was a VMI alumnus. Kids can sit in an authentic WWII jeep. Marshall's Nobel Prize for Peace is also on display. A large lighted world map combined with an audio script traces the history of World War II.
